If you are after authentic American put bbq, they have it all. Brisket, ribs, pulled pork, wings, sausage. Wood fire smoke. 7/10 on the food. Bbq was cooked a bit hot so it dried out, they could use a bit more low and slow, but overall really well seasoned and great variety. Servers and barmen were top shelf.

Visited last night as a surprise for my birthday. Table of 10. Lovely atmosphere. A nice 'Happy Birthday' message on the table - nice touch and the birthday board. Everyone thought the food was amazing. This was our first visit to you, it will not be our last. Thank you for a lovely time.

Fast and friendly service
Food portions small and very expensive.
I had a burger, it was nothing special and quite tasteless.
I work in a food place and sell smashed burgers,from our local butchers at £5.50 which was far taster.
Unfortunately we won't return

I celebrate my birthday at Hickory's most years, and always enjoy the food and people. You do need to book. Their menu is varied but with limited options for brunch. I would not recommend the waffles they tend to be dry. The coffee is OK but more robusta than arabica so a bit bitter. I did enjoy my muffin and tatter tots.

Excellent food and service. I was worried about coming here as I am a vegan and it's a smokehouse specialising in smoked meat. However the frickles were out of this world and the vegan fajitas were absolutely incredible I will definitely be returning. The staff were all very pleasant and couldn't do enough for you.

Really good experience - quick service, plenty of staff around. Food was nice quality and good portions. Kids enjoyed the outdoor play area.

Customer service was fantastic. Attentive but not overbearing. Friendly inviting faces, it's a shame all places aren't liek this :)
The food was lush and the added touch with the popcorn n movie theatre made for a nice little trip.

Firstly watch out for the potholes in the car park. Tyre wreckers right there......
Very meaty fayre as you would expect. We had a great server. Rapid food. Good pale ale. Not slimming!

Incredibly friendly, helpful and genuine staff, and amazing food. The platter for 2 is gigantic and we'll be enjoying what we couldn't eat tonight, tomorrow. Amazing bar staff as well and the best milkshake.

The food was great, there are great delicious selections of dishes.
We had the chicken basket and the go big or go home burger. Both were great choice.
The service can be more chatty to feel more welcome.
But in total we were happy
Definetely we will return, thank you.
